Marie-Catherine Beaulieu

Marie-Catherine Beaulieu has been the Head Librarian of the School of Health Sciences› libraries and Data manager at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland Wallis since 2021.

Following the completion of her degrees both in English Literature (Concordia University, Canada) and Irish Cultural Heritage (National University of Ireland Maynooth), she reoriented her professional focus to Library and Information Science and obtained a Master of Science (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Sciences de l’Information et des Bibliothèques «Enssib», France) in 2020.

While her primary focus is on library management, she has taken part in several specialized iniatives and working groups that have allowed her to acquire solid expertise in research support services and in research data management.
