«It’s the holidays and you’re the last person of your junior research team working. Before you can finally head off to vacation, you must complete the data management roadmap your colleague has left you. With a small window of opportunity, no previous knowledge of the topic and limited resources, you’re on the clock to track down all the information that you need.»
In this workshop, participants will get to play a card-based escape game on research data management (RDM) and engage in a discussion with the developer on the challenges of turning an analog game into a video game. After playing the game, the developers will give some input on their development process and will then brainstorm together with the participants about the myriad ways of transforming an analog into a digital game.
A knowledge of research data management is not needed to attend the event.
